This position assists servers in providing food and beverage service to guests dining in the restaurant and Lounge area.
Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPerforms all opening and closing duties as listed on side work assignment sheetApplies teamwork skills at all times and assists co-workers when time permitsGreets all guests and gives intelligent and accurate information and directionStocks and/or restocks all service stations as neededBuses, cleans, and resets tables according to standardsAssists servers with food and beverage serviceRefills coffee, tea and water for all guestsBreakdowns trays at the dish standMaintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment, work area, and dining room.
Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standardsAttends scheduled meeting and training classesRemains current with hotel information and changesComplies with hotel policies and rules and uniform and grooming proceduresEncourages a positive attitude among employees and treats other employees and guest with courtesy and respectIs polite, friendly, and helpful to the guests, management, and fellow employeesRecycles whenever possibleOther duties as assignedQualificationsMust have good English skillsThis position requires bending, lifting, and carrying.
