This role will have a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, talent management, engagement and retention activities.
Key
Responsibilities:
Drives implementation of HR functions including employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management and workforce planning within our facilitiesWorks with our Regional HR Director to develop new solutions that support the strategy of our business and regionActs as an advisor for multiple levels of leadership on strategic and tactical human resources issuesEnsures consistent application of approved company-wide and specific employee relations policies and practices.
Works with managers and employees to investigate and resolve employee relations issues as they ariseManages staffing for executive, exempt, and nonexempt roles including support and counsel to managers in sourcing, interviewing candidates, offers and onboarding of candidatesLeads succession planning panels to identify risks and development areas assignedPromotes continuous development of leadership through identification and bi-weekly delivery of training with supervisorsMonitors and encourages programs that support active leadership and employee engagementThis position does not require travelSkills /
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Admin, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of professional human resources generalist experienceStrong investigatory skillsExcellent knowledge of employment, employee relations, compensation / salary administration, and the laws that govern these areasExcellent consultative, influencing, conflict management, analytical, organizational, and diplomacy skillsProficient in Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)SPHR or PHR certification desirableMaster's degree in HR or related field is a plusKnowledge of transportation, logistics and/or manufacturing is a plusAbility to work holidaysOur Vision:
