Boutique Litigation Firm Seeks A Litigation Associate With Experience In Both State/Federal CourtsJob DetailsWe are an esteemed boutique law firm seeking a dynamic and experienced Litigation Associate.
Our firm specializes in civil and commercial litigation, and we are known for our commitment to achieving excellent results for our clients.
This position is an incredible opportunity for an attorney who has a passion for litigation and is looking to take their career to the next level.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in federal and state court proceedings, and fluency in both English and Spanish is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of litigation cases from inception through to conclusion.
This includes, but is not limited to:
1.
Drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and conducting legal research.
2.
Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
3.
Conducting discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
4.
Collaborating with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies.
5.
Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
6.
Maintaining communication with clients, providing case updates and legal advice.
7.
Keeping up-to-date with legal developments relevant to our practice areas.
Qualifications:
1.
Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2.
Admitted to practice in the state.
3.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation attorney, preferably in civil and commercial litigation.
4.
Proven experience in federal and state court proceedings.
5.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
6.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7.
Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines.
8.
Strong negotiation skills and courtroom presence.
9.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
10.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly valued.
11.
High ethical standards and professional integrity.
