How we LEAD:
The Director, Publicity is responsible for the set-up, implementation, and follow-through of media (TV, Press, and digital Regional Mexican Outlets) plans for a specified artist.
The person will be the primary Fonovisa Disa contact for those labels and artist groups as it relates to dissemination of information to and relationship with the TRADITIONAL MEDIA and DIGITAL MEDIA about the appearances and everything related to the artists on hand.
It will coordinate with the different public relations representatives throughout the US, as well as the constant search for opportunities for Regional Mexican Music on new platforms.
How you'll CREATE:
Develop and execute public relations strategies and campaigns for single and album releases for Fonovisa/ Disa Organizing both virtual and in person press junkets and press conferences.
Prepare press materials and effective pitches on a weekly basis.
Establish and maintain relationships with members of the media, industry tastemakers, artists and artists management teams.
Prepare video premieres and reviews with notable media outlets.
Lead the digital promotional strategy that focuses on collaborating with digital media outlets and content creators to create unique material that will boost publicity.
Represent artists at red carpet events, award shows and interview appearances both domestic and internationally.
Distribute media alerts, press releases and artist assets to broadcast, print and online media.
Collaboratively plan and manage special events including press junkets and album release parties.
Frequently maintain and expand the publicity contact database.
Mail promotional items to media, digital and streaming partners Create weekly press recaps.
Research, clip, and circulate relevant press hits to the team and management.
Keep up with relevant industry/entertainment news.
Field incoming press calls and handle accordingly Field incoming media requests via phone, mail, and e-mail Submit music videos to media partners for consideration in award shows.

BA degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
Fluent in Spanish and English; speak read and write Excellent written, presentation and communication skills Ability to relate and create a relationship with key media people including producers, executives, anchors, reporters, and media personalities.
Excellent organizational skills Ability to manage, prioritize and multi-task.
Experience dealing with TV, other media personalities and media influencers.
Strength in creativity and efficient use of resources Able to follow up in an excellent manner.
