Job Summary In conjunction with the Executive Housekeeper oversees all functions and operations of the entire Housekeeping and Laundry Department.
Assists in the training and orientation of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department.

Essential Job Functions A.
Adheres to Carillon Miami Wellness Resort standards for guest service.
B.
Resolves guest problems or complaints according to Carillon Miami Wellness Resort guest problem solution policy.
C.
Substitutes for the Executive Housekeeper in his/her absence.
D.
Oversees activities of suite attendants, quality assurance attendant, public area attendants, laundry attendants, and seamstress/uniform attendants.
E.
Ensures that operational practices are uniform and conform to departmental practices.
F.
Formulates and establishes Housekeeping Department work schedules to ensure distribution of work; revises schedules as needed.
G.
Control and monitor labor expenses.
H.
Effectively prepare Room Assignments to ensure equal work distribution and Rooms Readiness by 4pm I.
Plans and recommends to the Executive Housekeeper systematic training programs and inspecting practices.
J.
Trains staff in departmental standards.
K.
Observes and evaluates quantity and quality of work completed.
L.
Encourages work simplification, efficiency, and pride in work among staff.
M.
Controls and issues supplies, materials and equipment to staff members.
N.
Performs inventories as directed by Executive Housekeeper.
O.
Conduct departmental purchases based on consumption, inventory results and available check book balances.
P.
Control and monitor all operating expenses such as Operating Supplies, Guest Supplies, Cleaning Supplies.
Q.
Investigates accidents and initiates reports; recommends corrective action as required.
R.
Conducts recruitment interviews in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
S.
Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, injuries, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
T.
Performs other job-related duties as directed.
